God’s scriptures are our roadmap — they can guide us out of trouble, speak truth into our hearts, and help us discover our purpose. They can also teach us how to trust in the Lord.
The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher..” (Luke 6:40)
We should be ready to emulate the characteristics and values we observe in our greatest teacher. Simply stated, this means we are to filter all of life’s experiences through God’s Word. One powerful truth. – Amen!
“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.’”
“…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
“The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.”
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”
